MacArthur park is no stranger to the process of change. From a prized gem of Los Angeles to a toxic landfill, the park has taken on a number of different identities. Today, it hosts a strong, diverse community, from street markets to religious gatherings. Many center themselves around the park, with some even using it as a permanent home.
